Light of Christ and Prayer

6/28:
John 8:12
“12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the alight of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
John 12:46
How can you better follow the light of Christ? How can you be the light that leads others to Him?

Pray for the other Young Women in our ward specifically, by name. Even those you don't know very well!

Go to the mountains
1 Nephi 18:3
“3 And I,
Nephi, did go into the mount oft, and I did pray oft unto the Lord; wherefore
the Lord showed unto me great things.”
Isiah 2:2
“2 And it
shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house
shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above
the hills; and all enations shall flow unto it.”
In many different scriptures stories the Lord instructs his servants to go into the mountains to pray and receive instructions. Why do you think this is? Can you feel the spirit more easily in nature? Find a quiet spot and test this theory for yourself today!

6. And that the gathering together upon the land of Zion, and upon her stakes, may be for a defense, and for a refuge from the storm, and from wrath when it shall be poured out without mixture upon the whole earth."
